Generally About Burials
Burial of the Dead is a pastoral rite of the Church, and is offered to anyone, regardless of membership or profession (or non-profession) of faith. Should a person or family have no relationship to the church, however, it may be difficult to provide such service on short notice.
As a person approaches death, contact with the Church is encouraged, as pastoral care and special rites for that person, as well as for a family and/or loved ones, are available.
Preplanning is recommended. Before illness or a crisis comes, all of us need to consider our personal wishes for end-of-life health care and after-death attention. The Church is also ready to assist in these matters, and information about Health Care Directives, Living Wills, and Burial Pre-Planning are available.
All Saints Columbarium
A place of rest for cremated remains of loved ones, whether they are members or not, is available at All Saints. At any time, one may contact the Church for information about a place in the Columbarium, located behind the Sanctuary in a All Saints Garden of Resurrection. |
